I was looking for a place to take my two boys (12 and 9) on their first fishing trip and I found the Duval Point Lodge. I was a little nervous about self-guiding with two kids in the boat but once we settled in it was exactly what I was looking for. A chance to spend time with the boys unplugged and working together on the boat. We lost and landed our fair share of fish as well.
Dave, Lisa and the rest of the Duval team took fantastic care of us ensuring we had all the help and advice we needed to have success on the water. The cabins were small but clean, functional and very cosy. With the fishing grounds only minutes front the dock it was perfect to go out for the morning fish, come in for a good solid lunch (and maybe a nap) and head back on out again in the evening. Can’t wait to go back.
